Gun Violence:
Giving a Voice to the Victims

About:

More Projects

The Problem: We are not doing enough in Lynn about gun violence. And it is real for us.

The Solution: We would like to partner with a local organization and host a community event to listen to victims of gun violence and to present ideas on how the community can be part of the solution.

The Theory of Change: We think that if more students and families understand the pain and fear that comes with gun violence, they will be more motivated to do something about it. We also believe that if our local politicians see that there is energy behind this issue, they will also work harder to solve it.

The Ask: We are asking for $650 to get this project started. We plan on using most of this money for the food at the event (100 people), raffle prizes with some money for publicity and a stipend for editing the Impact Video we send you when we are finished.
